Anotace

This is another great little Taschen publication that captures some automotive nostalgia in colorful photos and art prints. If you're my age (near 60) and you love cars from the Golden Age of the 50's you'll enjoy this and want it for your collection of nostalgia. Along with hundreds of colorful drawings and photos, including many actual advertisements, there is a lot of information about the various featured models and manufacturers. The book is organized by year and seems to be quite comprehensive in including all the well known automotive badges along with a few now defunct or lesser known ones. There is also a companion entitled "The Cars of The 60s" which is equally as good and organized in the same yearly manner.
