Anotace

It has been many years since a full listing of all C-type, D-type and Lightweight E-type cars has been in print, and this new book is the result of years of research by compilers Terry Larson, Penny Woodley, Den Carlow and Paul Skilleter. They have been assisted by many other authorities all over the world. 

Edited by Anders Clausager, the individual history of each car is recorded in considerable detail including chassis, engine, gearbox and body numbers, original colour, dispatch date, owners, racing career and 'where is it now'. 

Many tables identify works cars, team cars, Le Mans cars and those which competed in other major events such as the Mille Miglia, Reims, the TT and Sebring. The book is prefaced by articles on each of the models concerned, and on the thorny topic of originality and authenticity. Over 200 illustrations augment the text, many of which will be unfamiliar even to the more seasoned Jaguar enthusiast. The inspiration of D-type owner Terry Larson, and published by D-type owner Ole Sommer, this is a book for the owner and serious enthusiast; it is bound to become the standard reference work on these cars.
