The original edition of Daytona 24 Hours was published by Bull in 2003. This newly updated edition adds five more chapters and scores of additional photographs, as well as a revised driver index and race results tables, chronicling the complete history of the race, from its earliest years as the Daytona Continental to the most recent event in 2008. The book's 46 year-by-year chapters include comments from many of the great names who have driven to victory at Daytona, from Dan Gurney, Pedro Rodriguez, and Peter Gregg in the 1960s and 1970s to more recent winners such as Bob Wollek, Andy Wallace, and Scott Pruett. Their first-person accounts provide intimate, compelling insights into the particular challenges of endurance racing at Daytona. Each chapter is illustrated with rare, color and black-and-white photographs, many of them never before published.
