Enthusiastically welcomed by the auto and automation-conscious American people, the American automobiles of the postwar motor industry were like no other cars made before... or since. At around twenty feet long and six feet wide and usually V8 powered, these ostentatious machines pulsed with life and flaunted aggressive styling.
